The race track eventually got slower for the second run, as Biggs got the 32nd fastest time even though he was 1.5 second behind his morning time.
“It's exciting racing in front of the home crowd,” said Biggs about the 6,000-plus spectators gathered in Whistler. “There is nothing like it.”
The alpine skier was competing for the first time at these 2010 Winter Games. It has yet to be determined if Biggs will take part in the final men’s skiing event of the Vancouver Olympics, the Slalom, which is scheduled for Saturday morning.
